Paid ahead by the month, leave whenever, no half months.

Subscriptions here sell by the month, charged before it starts. This page settles in advance who owes what on the way out, so nobody has to negotiate it during an already miserable week.

Clause 01Briefly

Billed monthly, ahead. Leave when you please. Departure bites once the period already bought has closed. Half months never get carved. Where a bill is wrong, we correct it and the money returns without a fight.

Clause 02Shape of the billing

Monthly subscription. Card. Up front. Checkout takes the opening payment, then the same calendar date comes round. Everything held collapses to one subscription and one charge a month. FORTIFY 24X7 appears on the statement.

Clause 03Handing a line back

Take a line off the roll inside the portal. Or mail us from the account address and an engineer unhooks it for you. Next charge stops. Charges already taken do not reverse, and cover keeps going to the close of the period bought. The agents keep running and our engineers keep answering. A tidy handover gets walked through with you, pulling copies of your material back wherever a platform permits.

Clause 04Why a half month never gets carved

Cancel on day ten of a month already bought and the month still finishes out. Nothing comes back. Our rates treat one month as the indivisible unit, and shaving fragments off for some customers means a different price for the rest.

Clause 05Money that returns, no fight

Certain situations are our error outright, and building a case should not fall to you.

  • Billed twice. Confirm the duplicate and the whole of it returns.
  • Quantity wrong. Billed for units beyond what was agreed, and the excess returns, with the count set right from there on.
  • Never provisioned. A line the platform balked at or the hardware refused, returned from day one. Money is not kept for something that never ran.
  • Billed post departure. A charge arriving after a cancellation we acted on comes straight back.

Clause 06Money that does not return

Certain things are not refunds, and dressing them up as refunds would be dishonest.

  • A covered month. Agents ran, the desk stood staffed, the subscription did its job.
  • Second thoughts halfway. Stop when you please. A month already bought runs to its end regardless.
  • Bought and never fitted. Say so and we will help fit it, or unhook it. Months spent waiting on somebody at your end are not refundable.
  • An incident during cover. Security is not insurance. Holding a line does not entitle you to money back when something gets through it.

Clause 07Speak to us ahead of your bank

Chargebacks freeze the account, stop the agents and slow everything for everybody, yourself first. Almost every billing dispute we have handled took one message to settle. Write in and give us that chance.

Clause 08Changing what you hold mid month

Add a line and the charge starts where it goes on. Unhook one and it runs to the close of the period bought, with nothing returned for that month, on the same reasoning as leaving. Discover you have been paying for units that never existed and the count gets fixed forward, with the overpayment returned. The reverse happens as well, and when it does you get told rather than quietly billed.
